Consider bringing your own heating blanket for extra warmth during chilly evenings, as room temperatures can be quite cold.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the scrumptious breakfast and the cozy, stylish room that felt like home. The garden area was a perfect spot to relax with a book, and there was a lovely lounge where I could unwind. Just a small note, there was a bit of noise from outside, but it didn't affect my awesome experience at all! 😊

So, I gotta say, the breakfast was just amazing, I mean I’m not big on full English but they served it up perfectly. Plus the location was great, I mean it’s a lovely Yorkshire village, and the hosts? They were like cute old friends.

The family room with a garden view offered a pleasant layout, providing a decent amount of space for a couple. The well-equipped room had thoughtful touches in the mirror positions and ample coffee/drinks facilities, making it easy to unwind after a long journey.
The room had a creaky bed that was noticeable with any movement—might not bother everyone, but it kept me on my toes. The real kicker, though, was the lack of heating control. it was downright chilly, especially in the morning. Arriving after dinner meant we didn't want to bother the owners for extra warmth, but waking up without any heating was quite uncomfortable.
